About SAGE

Starker Arts Garden for Education, or SAGE, is a program of the Corvallis Environmental Center and is located in the Bruce Starker Arts Park in Corvallis, Oregon. Community volunteers are the heart of the garden and help farm a one-acre plot of city land. The food we grow together is donated to local food banks and soup kitchens, providing fresh, healthy fruits and vegetables to families in our community who need them most. SAGE grows around 3 tons of produce and over 40 varieties of fruits and veggies and works with over 500-600 community volunteers each year!

In addition to growing food for the food banks, SAGE also offers sustainable agriculture education to the Benton County residents. We offer a wide variety of programs during the growing season, and hope you will get involved with one!
